SUSTAINABLE DESIGN POLICIES AND REGULATIONS
Assignment 2: EXPLORING LOCAL ARCHITECTURE OR BUILT (BE) RESPONSES TO SPECIFIC SDG GOALS AND TARGETS
The second assignment for the Sustainable Design Policies and Regulations module requires us to explore local architecture or built environments responding to specific Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Individually, we will document realized cases of architecture, planning, and structures to understand and demonstrate how these cases contribute to achieving the SDGs. The assignment includes analyzing a selected building, identifying relevant SDG targets and indicators, and explaining the building's alignment with SDG goals through visual documentation and analysis.
REFLECTION
For Assignment 2, "Lifelong Learning" was a central TGC, with the independent research component enhancing my ability to learn autonomously and synthesize information. "Citizen and Global Perspectives" were essential, as I evaluated local architectural responses to the global framework of SDGs. This task also developed my "Digital Literacy," utilizing ICT for analysis and presentation. This assignment nurtured my commitment to continuous learning, my understanding of global sustainability in architecture, and my capability to leverage technology in professional practice.

TGCs that I have acquired are
-
2.2 Locate, extract, synthesize and utilize information effectively
-
